The church of La Unión de Tula is not only the town's icon but represents the towns heart. Located in the central plaza, the towering twin towers can be seen for miles from the surrounding hills and pueblos. The bells within the twin towers announce, the time of day,

masses, weddings and other town events. Often the town bells also announce the presence of mischievous kids playing with the bell ropes. They do this just as kids from generation after generation have rang the bells during play when they too were growing up in La Unión de Tula.

If you think about it, kids have been ringing this bell since the churchs construction in the year XXXX.
